We can offer
- £9.70 per hour at NNUH, site related elsewhere
- 24 hours a week (averages as 24 hours per week over any 17 week period)

Primarily you will be based at NNUH but will also be trained on other surrounding sites and sites within Norwich P&R Operational Sector. It is a condition of your employment that the Company reserves the right to vary your working hours, duties and location of duties to meet the need of the business at any time. If there is a change in your current place of work the Company will inform you with as much reasonable notice as is possible of any changes.
We need
- A real desire to work as a Security Officer and healthcare support worker in tandem - experience in social services, mental health or other areas of care work would be valued highly
- SIA Licence - Door Supervisor
- First Aid
- Control & Restraint Training
- You will have to undertake enhanced DBS checks in order to work in this setting - please check advice online if you are unsure

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a great opportunity to develop your skills as a Security Officer in a healthcare setting. The most successful officers at this site are as capable assisting a member of the public with the parking machine as they are monitoring vulnerable adults in a challenging setting.
This is an active role involving patrols and you will be on your feet throughout the day.
You must be flexible, pragmatic and able to deal with a range of demanding and at times distressing situations - no day will be the same but you will feel great reward in this people focused role. We support the existing security provider at NNHU and supplement their staff, this is not a full time role but we can offer extra shifts at a range of sites in the area if you want to build your hours.
