The Opportunity
Our client is a central college which has an outstanding campus with industry-standard facilities. The role of a Security Officer/College Support Officer is highly respected and will become part of the core support team.
We are looking for a Security Officer/College Support Officer who can also undertake Caretaker duties. The right candidate will be able to maintain clear and effective communication with staff and students on-site that will contribute towards a positive community atmosphere.
As a College Support Officer, you will expected to travel to other sites in the Norwich area, times of work may vary on these sites.
You will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors, and contractors, and be an integral part of the security and caretaking team.
Full in-house training will be provided.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Valid SIA Licence
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history, including an Enhanced DBS Check
- Punctual and reliable
- Passionate about creating an expectational customer experience
- Knowledge of the MS packages (excel, word, outlook)
- Highly intuitive with a curious mindset
- Highly presentable in line with our corporate brand
- Resilient and pro-active in your work
