The Opportunity

As a Site Security Controller Lead you will report to our Head of Client Services, and will be vital to the successful delivery of day to day running of the security operations on-site at our prestigious client. Your primary roles will include building / maintaining a successful relationship with the client, and all key stakeholders and officers to ensure that an level of service is delivered to the highest standard.

Through developing a ‘one team’ approach across the site, you will drive an efficient and professional work ethic and demonstrate Dardan’s and our Client’s values through your own behaviour. Technical ability and Security/Risk knowledge essential - this role will be managing the CCTV / Access control company and systems in addition to enhancing the team's capabilities.

You will be passionate about delivering exceptional client and guest experience through coaching staff to achieve the highest levels of service, safety and presentation.

Your duties include (but are not limited to):

• Manage the control room - overseeing the security team performance

• Further develop physical and system (CCTV) patrols the site using all systems

• Management oversight of the CCTV and Access Control systems provider on behalf of the client reporting any performance issues or non-compliance to KPIs to the relevant stakeholder/s

• Development of a ‘Security Control Room Operational Manual’ which all security staff should be efficient in adhering to

• Ensuring all site procedures are kept up to date (Standard Operating Procedures and Assignment Instructions)

• Support the delivery of a training plan and matrix to evidence all the security team are adequately trained, competent and compliant to both legal and client demands

• Highlight training requirements to the Head of Client Services 

• Collate reports and document incident reports Support the Head of Client services 

• Support site team with Health & Safety management system (incident reporting) and correct use of the systems in operation

Full in-house training will be provided.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Valid SIA Licence

• Full understanding of corporate security

• An understanding and awareness of technical security such as CCTV and Access Control

• Experience and wide understanding of CCTV monitoring, Access control systems and Incident response organization

• Contractor manager experience to include KPI and Compliance

• Highly refined verbal and writing communication skills

• Passion for service excellence

• Initiative, creativity and ability to solve problems

• Strong team building and motivational skills with excellent people management skills

• Ability to train and develop team members where required
